Leah Remini which is also known by his name Leah Marie Remini, is an American actress, former anti-Scientology activist, author, and model. She  was born in Brooklyn, New York, in the United States on June 15, 1970. Her mother belongs to Austrian Jewish descent. She  is an American actress, author, former Scientologist and Scientology critic. She is known for her roles as Carrie Heffernan in the comedy series The King of Queens (1998–2007) and Vanessa Cellucci in the comedy series Kevin Can Wait (2017–18). Early Life

Remini was born on June 15, 1970 in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Vicki Marshall, a school teacher, and George Remini, owner of an asbestos removal company. Her mother is of Austrian Jewish descent, while her father is of Sicilian descent.
